What to Expect
COVID-19 UPDATE: We’re gathering again in-person. However, some ministry activities may remain online or be a combination of in-person and online gatherings. Currently, masks are still required indoors where social distancing can't be observed. Be sure to read all the details about any guidelines on our Church Updates page, and anything specific to events on our Upcoming Events descriptions. If you have any questions, please feel free to touch base with the appropriate ministry contact.
Knowing what to expect before visiting somewhere the first time can make a big difference – especially somewhere as important as church. Whether you’ve attended church your entire life, or you’ve never been at all, we know it’s not always easy taking those first steps through the door.
At WCC, what visitors often notice first is our relaxed atmosphere. We want you to come in, feel genuinely welcome, enjoy a great cup of coffee or tea, and make yourself at home. Don’t worry, we won’t do anything to embarrass you or make you stand out.
Our contemporary praise music and teaching are dynamic and relevant, so that people living in the 21st century can come to understand; how the Bible speaks directly to their life, and how we can connect meaningfully with an eternal and timeless God that understands our challenges, addresses them, and wants to guide our lives.
We know WCC might seem like a big, busy place, so here’s what else you can expect...
Come together on the weekends – at the “WCC Main Campus” (1855 S. County Farm Road, Warsaw, Indiana) – during one of our 55 minute weekend services; Sundays at 8:30am, 9:45am, and 11am. (NOTE: Spanish translation is available during our 9:45am service – Traducción al español disponible durante el servicio de las 9:45am. Pase por el Centro de Información para más detalles.)
Want to peek inside the building before you arrive? Take a digital tour here.
Watch a previous service or tune in live on Sundays to get an idea of the music style and teaching topics. Flip-flops and shorts, jeans and a button-up, business casual or your Sunday best – what you wear doesn’t matter, we’re just glad you’re here and so is God.
Volunteers are here to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and give you a tour if you’d like. Just stop by the Info Center on the main floor lobby.
Already know you want to get connected? Be sure to fill out a Connection Card, it's the quickest way to start a conversation. You can fill it out online, or on Sunday by dropping it in the offering basket or at the Info Center.
Additionally, we encourage you to stick around after your visit, and join us for The Quarter After – an opportunity to meet our teaching pastor during the 15 minutes right after each service. (Please Note: Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, The Quarter After is currently on hold.) Want to dig further than that? Check out our Discovery Series – three Sunday sessions during the 11am service that will give you a closer look at WCC, help you identify your spiritual gifts, and discover the many ways to get connected here.
Or maybe you’re struggling and need someone to listen… Stop by the Info Center, and speak with our pastor on duty, or find out more about our Community Care ministry. Either way, we want to get to know you and are here to help.
Got kids? We love them too! So much so, that we provide encouraging environments just for them (infant through 6th grade) to be guided as they grow and learn the truth of who God is and how much He loves them. We also offer programs for students in middle school and high school tailored just for them to get to know others, find friends they can confide in, and grow in their faith.
